When Sonja Noël opened a boutique in the 1980s in the Dansaert district fitted out in a minimalist way, she resolutely opted for the emerging talent of Belgian fashion, "the six of Antwerp". Not because they were controversial, but because they subtly combined quality with a healthy dose of creativity.
She immediately set the tone for what was to become the Dansaert area: the most avant-garde district of Brussels with many independent shops and boutique workshops that provide ample space for local talent.
During Fashion Week, you will be able to discover more than 100 Belgian brands in 26 different boutiques, from big brands to more experimental beginners, from outerwear and underwear to accessories and jewelry, new or second-hand to hand-made.
