Integral transformation of an optics shop. The project was realised in close consultation with the customer, who in turn took all technical requirements into account for the smooth functioning of the shop. The whole furniture was completely custom designed, with the large glass walls ensuring continuity between the workshop, the optometry room and the shop space. An oak herringbone parquet was chosen as floor covering for most of the shop, but also for the walls into which large cupboards were incorporated. The continuity of the material provides a warm appearance and a remarkable visual effect. A granite stone was chosen that was used as a base for the new shop window, for the counter and as floor covering in the workshop. The furniture always has a structure consisting of matt black lacquered profiles, which fit nicely with the existing wood.
